I love the beach, especially the ones in SC. I admit to being a little biased about that since I lived in Myrtle Beach for a couple of decades. A friend and I were discussing our dream lives yesterday (not what we dreamed about while asleep but rather about some of the things we longed for while awake), and I told her that having a little shack on the beach would be a dream come true for me. The seabirds, the sound of the ocean’s roar, the sound and sight of the tide’s constant ebb and flow, the sand, the variety of shells…everything about it says, “Be still and know that I am God.”
